March 29, 2016

The time between breakfast and lunch, or lunch and dinner can become a problem for many parents, ¿what should you give? ¿will they get very full and not eat at all? ¿Will that be healthy? At the end you always end up giving the same or the easiest to get…!chips! That is why we want to show you two easy recipes to make and very healthy for your children to enjoy different things at mid-morning and afternoon.

  1. Oatmeal and cocoa pancakes (Morning)

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon of cocoa

2 egg whites1/3 Rolled oats

1 teaspoon of baking powder

Sweetener and vanilla essence (1 tsp each)

Preparation: Blend all ingredients until you have left a rather thick mixture, if necessary, you can add a bit of water. In a nonstick pan put a little oil spray or butter and add the mixture. Turn the pancake when you begin to see little holes on them, add fruits like strawberries or bananas, and a little honey.

From this recipe you will get from 3 to 4 medium pancakes.

  1. Banana Muffins (Afternoon)

Ingredients:

2 egg whites

3 tablespoons of coconut flour or almond

1 teaspoon of cinnamon and vanilla essence

SweetenerHalf crushed banana

A container for cupcakes

Preparation:  Add all ingredients except the banana to a blender, when you have a homogeneous mixture mix the crushed bananas with the preparation. Preheat oven to 250 degrees and place in the container for cupcakes with a little bit of cooking spray so they do not stick together, then add the mixture and leave for 15 minutes in the oven. Finally sprinkle some chocolate striped over the muffins to give them the sweet touch.

¡Dutties to be happy!
